Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze got a warm welcome from his AC Milan teammates and coaches on Wednesday after returning from the AFCON 2023.
In a video posted in Milan’s Instagram account on Thursday, the likes of Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and other Milan players were seen embracing Chukwueze at the training ground.
Another part of the video saw Chukwueze chatting with Milan head coach Stéfano Pioli.

Chukwueze then went on to thank Milan fans for their support during the AFCON.
“Hi, Milanistas I’m back, I’m so happy to be back I miss you guys.
“I want to continue where I stopped, I love you guys and thanks for the support at the AFCON.“
Chukwueze featured in some of the Eagles’ games as they finished as runners-up after losing 2-1 to hosts Côte d’Ivoire in the final.

Mind you, Aina was one of the players that cost us AFCON cup because he could not mark young Adingra Simon. Trust me, Osayi Samuel or Awaziem would have kept him quiet if given the chance to play. Aina, Ajayi and Ekong are suspects defensively.

Bright, Awaziem,Bruno and Bassey are very solid defenders anytime.
SE need solid Central defenders going forward. Rugged and ball playing defenders. Likewise creative midfielders and rugged CMs and strong/skillful traditional wingers. This will help to boost the team.
World cup qualifiers is coming o! If they like they should ignore this and still come back with a heart break.
