Organisers of the Nathaniel Ogedegbe Flawless Soccer Tournament are set to stage the second edition in December at the Shonebare Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The competition, put together by former Nigeria Junior international, Nathaniel Ogedegbe, offers exciting soccer talents the opportunity to showcase their skills, learn from each other, and develop passion for the sport.
The 7-Aside youth tournament is divided into two categories.
Under 10 boys will battle it out from 7-8 December 2024 while the under 12 competition is scheduled for 17-18 December 2024.
Having played for Saint Finbarr’s College and Lagos Academicals during his formative years, Ogedegbe, explained the youth competition was a way of giving back to the community where he honed his football skills in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event boasts professional referees and well-maintained playing facilities, ensuring a competitive and safe environment for all players.
The top three teams in each category will also receive awards and trophies, recognizing their hard work and dedication.
Registration for the tournament is now open online, with teams required to complete their roster verification on or before November 30, 2024.
The inaugural youth football competition was held in January 2024, and this second edition promises to be even more exciting.
