Archer Makes England Squad

Jofra Archer has been included in England’s World Cup squad but David Willey and Joe Denly have missed out.

Archer was omitted from the Three Lions provisional squad but the Barbados-born 24-year-old impressed during the 4-0 one-day series triumph over Pakistan and has now secured a place in the squad for the World Cup on home soil.

Tom Curran has also been included in the 15-man squad, meaning there is no place for Willey while spinner Liam Dawson has been selected as all-rounder Denly misses out.

Willey, Denly and batsman Alex Hales were named in the provisional squad last month.
