We had a penalty call which he didn’t give but was quick to give a freekick to d argentines which they just scored from. Its pathetic to be honest. Our coach can’t appeal for a var review.

Dnt blame the ref. But our dumb ass coach who can’t make the request, their is NO VAR in use so the rule is that the coach of each team gat the opportunity to make/ request for max 2 review per game and extra 1 from the knockout stage, making 3. I expect our coach to request a review bcos that was a glaring push from a scoring position, our coach look so timid and scared to talk.

You lie, the whole team is not trash. Infact the Nigerian boys are playing really well, far better than the overhyped and bullying Argentines. But for hardback and Referee oppression Flying Eagles should be winning this game atleast from the half hour mark when I started watching, the FE had a penalty shout and two goal scoring opportunities, the last one in the 3 added minutes at end of first half.
Whatever happens, the boys have done very well and I would suggest drafting some of these boys into the aging and slow pace Super Eagles paticularly the left back/wingback, the left winger and Daniel Daga, and
one of the midfielders to replace the Ndidi,s, Onyeka,s, Moses Simon and even Chukwueze,s.
Common boys fight. The whole world are always joining our opponents to fight us and these boys are up against it- not just the mediocre Argentine u-20 boys.
I stopped watching.The referee turned down a penalty call without having a look and gave Argentina a soft free-kick which resulted to the second goal,it’s going to be a long night for the flying eagles.
Harcourt has been terrible in this tournament,the first Argentina goal was a gift.The team is not good enough for the world cup.

The coach needs to go please, he is too poor. His selection is downright bad. Where in god’s name did he get d #20 center back from, dat guy has no football brain at all. He attacks d leg rather than d ball. He falls so easily. Very poor team honestly.

From promoting the Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri to the NPFL from the second division, NNL to leading the team to win the President Federation Cup (FA Cup) which they last won in 1992 and eventually leading them to the Confederation Cup,…… The only notable qualification of coach zubairu is qualifying 2 teams from NNL to the NPFL and he was deemed good enough to manage a national team. Talk of mediocrity at the highest level, just a pity we keep destroying the beautiful talents that abound every where in the country because of tribalistic and religious sentiments. I am just glad God is rewarding all these tribalistic appointments with failures and shall continue to be their portion. Inshallah!

I knew it from the coach appointment to players selection this is the best they can offer. NFF with sentiment in appointment of coaches is killing youth football development in Nigeria and that’s why we hardly groom boys from home again, after the likes of Mikel, taiwo, obasi, etc

Nigeria should just go learn from Japan how football is structured and run (kaizen). See dia female and male teams both youth and senior teams, they play same way. Consistency and continuous improvement is rule of d game. They dominate posession in most games, their passes are crips and purposeful. Japan is the best structure fir 9ja to emulate in my view and just add the physicality aspect of our game to it, we will be unbeatable honestly, not dis gra gra style wen we dey folo. All african teams don catch up to us, 9ja dat was once d dominant force in youth football now find it difficult to qualify for age grade competitions. One of d worse Ghana u17 beat Garba lawal led u17 team, what a dusgrace. Morocco now is a force to reckon with both in men and female football but 9ja is struggling. 9ja u dey fall hand i swear.
