Real Madrid have dominated the Spanish Super Cup, winning it six consecutive times, while Barcelona has been in a title drought, not having claimed the trophy since 2015.
The second semi-final will see Unicaja face off against Murcia. Unicaja, having finished first in the regular season, surprised many across the Iberian Peninsula.
Murcia, from University City, reached the semi-final by defeating Unicaja. This match is also scheduled for September 21st, with the final set for the following day.
