Bayern Leverkusen Face Brandt Battle

Bayern Leverkusen look set to have a battle on their hands to keep Julian Brandt with Munich thought to be monitoring the player.

With Leverkusen failing to get a deal over the line for Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi over the January window, the Bavarian giants are thought to be considering alternative options.

Bayern president Uli Hoeness has already revealed work is ongoing to bring in fresh faces for next season, especially with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery set to leave the Bundesliga champions.

Germany international Brandt could be one player through the door at Allianz-Arena, if Bayern do decide to call time on their pursuit of Blues talent Hudson-Odoi.
