Former Hull KR fans’ favourite Maurice Blair has called Rovers fans “one of a kind” after moving back to Australia. The 35-year-old back-rower spent four years at Craven Park and helped the club bounce back into the Super League following their relegation after the Million Pound Game loss to Salford. Blair has now joined Intrust Super Cup outfit Northern Pride for their upcoming season and leaves Hull KR with some fond memories.

Blair said: “I enjoyed my time thoroughly over at Hull KR. The fans are one of a kind – vocal when you play at home and I have nothing but good memories from Rovers.”
