Croatia coach, Zlatko Dalic, has talked up A Selecao (The National Team) of Brazil as his team prepares to face the five-time world champions in the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Croats will contest with the Selecao for a semi-final spot on Friday, December 9 at the Education City Stadium.
In a video posted on CGTN Sports scene’s YouTube channel, Dalic discussed the strengths of the Brazilian squad.

“It will be a different game than anyone we have played so far because Brazil likes to play football.
“If we are looking at it realistically, Brazil is the best team at the tournament, they have a great choice of players, a great squad, it’s scary, so it’s a great test for us.”

Croatia qualified as the second-placed team in Group F of the Qatar 2022 World Cup with five points from three games. They edged out Japan 3-1 on penalties in the Round of 16 after the scoreline in regulation time ended 1-1.
The Vatreni (Blazers) of Croatia were the first runners-up at Russia 2018 after losing the final 4-2 to France at Luzhniki Stadium on July 15.
They also claimed the bronze medal at France ’98 with a 2-1 victory over Holland in the third-place playoff at the Parc des Princes on July 11.
