Brentford have spoken out against the racist abuse suffered by Frank Onyeka following last Saturday’s victory at Chelsea.
Onyeka was a second half substitute in the 2-0 win at the Stamford Bridge.
Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbeumo scored both goals for the Bees.
“Last night another incidence of disgusting, racist abuse was directed towards one of our players, this time Frank Onyeka, on social media,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

“It is hugely disappointing that one of our players has had to deal with this yet again.
“This week the Online Safety Bill was passed – we hope that its implementation will make social media safer and that it will support our efforts to hold these cowards and the social media companies themselves to account.
“Frank has our full support at this time as we instigate our investigations with the authorities.
“We remain committed to tackling discrimination throughout our game.
In a related development, the English Premier League has also via a tweet condemned the action, reiterating that they have no place for racism.

I dont know why blacks are yet to device a means of reciprocating racist attacks from white folks. There should be something to say to them that will get them angry too.
The funny thing is that black on black racism is just as bad. It’s a huge issue in the US AND UK.
They keep saying black lives matter, but it is black people that kill their fellow blacks the most.
Racism also exists in the middle east, with Arabs hating on Jews, even though they are genetically closely related.
Hatred is found everywhere in this wicked world. Some idiot whites are incredibly racist, but they are not alone. It’s a global problem.
I love Dani Alves’ response to a racist provocation some time ago. An idiot racist threw a banana at him as he was preparing to take a corner kick. Alves calmly picked up the banana, and ate it. I think that’s the best way to deal with racists. Show them that you are completely unruffled by their stupidity. That will hurt and frustrate them a lot more than retaliation.
