Chelsea are expected to face the winner of Arsenal and Crystal Palace, while holders Newcastle United will battle Manchester City in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Chelsea booked their place in the final four after fending off a valiant comeback attempt by League One Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
Manchester City, who have won the tournament six times since the 2013/14 season, booked their place in the semis with a 2-0 win over Brentford at The Etihad on Wednesday.

Pep Guardiola will be looking to win this competition for the fifth time and will have to overcome holders Newcastle in a two-legged tie to return to Wembley yet again. Recall that Newcastle squeezed through to the semi-finals, although it took a stoppage-time winner to down Fulham at St James’ Park.
Only Arsenal or Crystal Palace are yet to confirm their place in the final four of the Carabao Cup. They face off at the Emirates next Tuesday.
The semi-final first legs will be played on the week of 12 January, with the second legs on the week of 2 February.
