Coach Rohr don’t let this guy called Eze now that it’s obvious that it’s England vs Nigeria just like France vs Senegal talent haunt!

    • Glory 4 years ago

This boy Eze is the only player I see, that can challenge Iwobi for that attacking midfield position. Others are just pretenders.

      • Eczelo 4 years ago

Glory, thanks for this. I used to think I was the only one who could see it. Will he get called up?

      • his far better Dan iwobi. desame class with okocha bro.

    • Chima E Samuels 4 years ago

*Slip…….. @Glory Aribo is good match for Iwobi as well for the No10, I just pray Rohr gives Eze a look in Before England U21 start luring him!

      • Glory 4 years ago

@ Chima E Samuel. It’s only an insane mind that won’t appreciate Ariballer. But he is not an attacking midfielder. He is a super box, to box midfielder in the mood of Yaya Toure/ Patrick Viera’.

Biko how many of us saw the game qpr vs hull today.. Plz let try to watch highlight on YouTube.. That ebere eze is a genius,,, if Nigeria should miss that guy we are in trouble…
He plays far Better than iwobi and is a pure attacking midfielder , his technique is out of this world.. Plz I’m not trying to hype this guy, watch the match and see for yourself.
I couldn’t believe my eyes what I saw this boy doing on the pitch..

Another part of his game is that he is freekick specialist, wears number 10 for his club and the number one danger man for qpr.. He is the talk of the town right now in the English championship. A goal scoring midfielder,, iwobi would be forced to improve once we have him.. Rohn pls go for this man he loves Nigeria

  • Chidi 4 years ago

Brothers let’s all in one Accord route for ezes inclusion to d SE now before it’s too late d English media ve already started calling for his inclusion to their under 21 gr nff over to you they should also involve kanu n okocha to woo him

  • Ololo 4 years ago

I don’t think people saw what they boy did today.. On his own we won two penalty.. In each of them he held the ball to take them and none of his team mates argued with him.. Why he single handedly won the penalty.. His level of confidence is more than the championship level, he dribbles without fear, like he sees everyone as not on his page..
I don’t know why the Nigerian media is not talking heavily about him after such a performance, I don’t know why they chose to tell us about akpeyi when a Nigerian boy is performing wonder in championship… Plz those who saw the game let us gather and pour this place with comments about him so the media would know we want him badly

  • Chidi 4 years ago

Brothers it’s not about challenging iwobi is about getting d best players for our darling se lets nnot forget iwobis commitment in a hurry he is only 23 n can only get better

    • JimmyBall 4 years ago

Iwobi is not a player to improve… I don’t even understand his choice of hairstyle that can’t be backed up by performance… Iwobi can not even shoot like most u-16 players… Eze and Ejaria are better than Iwobi… Unai Emery and Wenger gave him ample playing time yet he failed to improve… Eze is way more superior to Iwobi… Another player we need for sure in the mould of Chukwueze is Bobby Adekanye… that’s a guy better than Ojo and honestly as good if not better than Chukwueze…

      • JimmyBall 4 years ago

Iwobi was woeful against Brazil… easily dispossessed off the ball and can’t even mark… his shooting for an upfield player is the worst I have seen in a long while…

        • Glory 4 years ago

I doubt you are a Nigerian mate, though I won’t still be surprised you are. Almost all foreign media are praising Iwobi’s Supreme talent n performance yesterday and you are here spilling out sick negative comments about such a fantastic player.

          • JimmyBall 4 years ago

…supreme talent in a single match… He, Iwobi has had so much football education at the highest level to be consistent… Several aspects of his game is weak and he hardly gets goals for a player in advanced position on the field… If he had so much talent, why did Arsenal sacrifice him… Selling him off to a less fancied mid-table team? I just realise most of you guys here base ur comments on sentiments… Iwobi is a winger and not a midfielder at best… He was awful against Brazil and Algeria last time… I am not talking about yesterday’s game… I mean against Brazil and previous several national team games… Let him be utilised on the wings in Nigeria like before… We need… Maestro with ana eye for goal… Ejaria, Nwakali Kelechi and Eze are better midfielders than Iwobi… I was a professional player don’t come and tell me what I know. Yea, Iwobi makes one nice dribble or nutmeg or some fancy flashy Legworks and he become a great player… No he is still average!

      • Ololo 4 years ago

If it’s hairstyle bro.. Eze has similar locks like iwobi.. In fact I think they started the deard lock thing almost the same year… Leave my boy iwobi,, what he needs is positive competition.. Everyone who knows no one does what he does around him in the team would be relax.. But iwobi is a baller

        • JimmyBall 4 years ago

…great performers like Samuel Okwaraji of Nigeria, Cyril Makanacky of Cameroon and Jules Bucande of Senegal made the dreadlocks popular but in the instance of each of those players… they backed that indigenous and Spiritual African Hairstyle with onfield performance… Iwobi was is not making the cut… honestly he is not as good as Rabiu Ibrahim even… Okochas glory has really covered Iwobi… He remains the weakest player in our midfield….Aribo who just arrived has already stole more shows in two games than what Iwobi has managed in over fifteen games… Azubuike and Kelechi Nwakali… Seems to boss midfield far better than Iwobi even… I see him losing his position soon… Brazil exposed Iwobi and he may have been the reason Algeria eat our lunch and killed us in midfield… recall how a young Algeria midfielder of only 22years won playing for Empoli won the Afcon MVP and bullied Iwobi in midfield… Very unfortunate… I am really not riding Iwobi’s train anymore!

          • Mr Hush 4 years ago

I can share your frustrations about Iwobi inconsistency, but what does his hairstyle have to do with it??

You made some valid points, about Iwobi’s poor finishing and his shooting ability, yet you forget to look at his positive impact for club and country. I smell bias.
There are always two sides to a coin, before you make conclusions you weigh both.

In that respect,Iwobi has been a positive impact to the Super Eagles.
You might have forgotten, but it was Iwobi’s goal that got us to the last world cup, when the Zambians made things difficult in Uyo.
It was Iwobi game play with Musa and Ighalo that got us started in the last Afcon against Burundi when things were difficult.

To pick him out and state unequivocally that he was bullied out by Bennacer in the Algeria game is far fetched.
The Algeria tactical game was far better than Nigeria on that given day. It has nothing to do with Iwobi. Etebo and Ndidi were as well in that midfield.

Yes.he didn’t do good against Brazil. But this is Brazil with Casemiro and Arthur!. If you don’t know those guys.they are good at what they do.besides,in football, every player has his day.that wasn’t Iwobi’s day.

            Yes.
Iwobi needs competition in the Super Eagles.the creative role is one of the most difficult role to play in football,if not the most difficult.cause you have to be creative in every given game.you are the heartbeat of your team and most chance of scoring comes Through you. That’s difficult. There is a reason why the number 10 is scarce in modern football.

For yesterday game, Iwobi did good. He could have done better.but he had a great game,Making those runs and opening, allowing his team mates spaces to cause damage to the opposition.
Like I said, the positive outweigh the negative.so he did good.

Hopefully, we get a great competition for Iwobi in the super Eagles to compliment him.
He needs encouragement and praise when he deserves it.
            Yesterday,Iwobi deserves commendation.

Please, comments like this are definitely not good a player’s confidence. I saw this guy during the match against westham, he was very technical and fantastic in all his touches that he was given a standing ovation when he was subbed-off in 86th minutes. However, there are always room for improvement for every player and football itself set this aright.

    • Ololo 4 years ago

Iwobi needs competition.. He appears too relaxed.. When a player like eze comes into the team he surely would realize there are options in Case he underperforms.. But nevertheless iwobi is a great player, aside his goal scoring lapses he has been wonderful in out team, but this competition would be a positive one

Let’s us all use our weapon social media to voice our opinion hook up on my Facebook book page chidiintelblog

    • Eze plays advance 10,with skills and precision like okocha, with his dread I still remember the days of Edgar Davids.I don’t know why NFF have to wait that long after this boy trained with super eagles 2 years ago in London. England don’t have this kind no 10 in their national team,an a free kick specialist

  • Samchi 4 years ago

@Jimmyball please enough of that insult on Chukwueze abi na Bobby Agent u be.
Chukwueze that is been tooted as plan B to Neymar deal at barca, adekanye that is just a squad member at Lazio or better still training material’ where did you even watch adekanye play for once in a league match_
The only New thing about to take this SE team by storm will be c.Ejuke & Eze
in that order after them others follow

  • Please Nff and Mr. Rohr should give us this guy. Eze will be an asset to our super eagles

  • is Eze not ready to play for us or we are not ready to invite him pls house……?

  • Eze is just the natural 10 we are looking for in Super Eagles.

  • A combination of Eze (a natural attacking player) Aribo (box to box guy) indidi (the dirty guy). we are good to go…….

  • give us this day Ho Lord….. don’t let us loose out on this boy Eze….

  • abeg iwobi is not a player again oo. he cant dribble and run with ball again, aribo, eze, ejaria, chukwueze, kalu, onyekuru, all are 100% far better than iwobi offensively. iwobi is not good in any position, because he will never improved, even if he clock 25yrs old.

  • Gideon_s 4 years ago

Make una appreciate the one wey we get, so God go give us another…

before SE match vs Brazil, thinking bout Iwobi was a problem to Brazilians coaching crew..
so is great having him in our squad..

But, for real. we need Eze to jinja the swagger.
the Boi is good in his technique
And his willing 2wear our green&White

  • After reading the comments here about eze i went on utube to watch. And ehat did i see … A gem…another okocha. But please is nff and rohr doing anything about him. He is surely a big solution to pur no 10 issue… What is the situation about and nigeria… Complete sports can you do do a report.
