Feyenoord Rotterdam manager Arne Slot has nothing but praise for Cyriel Dessers after the forward inspired a 3-1 win against Czech side Slavia Prague in Thursday night’s UEFA Europa Conference League second leg tie.
Dessers scored twice on the night with Feyenoord progressing to the semi-final 6-4 on aggregate.
The forward outstripped the Slavia defence to open the scoring with a low shot in the second minute.

The Nigeria international got his second of the game a minute before the hour mark slotting home after intercepting Aleš Mandous’ clearance.
“Cyriel played fantastic today. With high pressure from the opponent he functioned excellently as a point of contact today , but he also knew how to create chances himself,” Dessers told the club’s official website
The striker has scored eight goals in eight appearances in the competition for Feyenoord this season.

How could a good coach ignored Adeleye and settled for Akpeyi, Okoye, Uzoho and John Noble?
How could NFF president preferred a retired Ighalo to inform striker like Dessers? Mr. President even went to Ighalo’s place to begged him to come and play for Nigeria. What a shame.
Coach Eguavoen has returned to his former position while Amaju Pinnick and his colleagues still working for Nigeria and we are expecting Super Eagles to qualify for Afcon? I am deeply sorry for this our country.
If Nigeria system have not been poluted, Salisu Yusuf, Amaju, Diko and Sheyi should be in prison yard by now. But nepotism in is the main problem of our system in Nigeria.

Eguaveon is a failure in life. After failing like a fool, instead of apologising and being remorseful for gambling with our WC chance, he has been so loud ever since then, granting interviews and making noise on twitter. He has even paid some clowns to come here and tell us he is the best coach we can get; that he should be allowed him to continue as SE coach.
