The Nigeria international’s superb strike in Rangers’ UEFA Europa League 3-2 win at Real Betis is in contention for the award alongside four others.
The 29-year-old struck in the 20th minute of the game against Real Betis after receiving a pass from Jose Cifuentes.
The striker has registered 17 goals and eight assists for the Gers this season.
Rangers captain James Tavernier has two of his goals (against Ross County and Aberdeen) nominated for the award.
Abdallah Sima and Rabbi Matondo are the two other players in contention for the award.
