Football agent Vincenzo Raiola has backed Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for the Ballon d’Or this year.
In a chat with YSScores, Raiola stated that that Italian goalkeeper played a key role in helping the team to win the Champions League.
“PSG’s success was down to the saves made by Donnarumma.
“He recalled the performances against Arsenal, Liverpool, and Aston Villa in their UEFA Champions League run.

“For me, Donnarumma deserves to win the Ballon d’Or. Ousmane Dembele has contributed a lot with his goals, but without Donnarumma’s saves against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal, Paris would not have been able to win the Champions League.”
Dembele is among the top contenders for the Ballon d’Or this year.
The France international is expected to battle with the likes of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappe for the award.
