Sure, sure. Eguavoen is the right pick now that the ex-players will superintend the football federation but it also depends on how he does his homework in the Nff electioneering procedures.

      Congratulations Mourhino.

Eguavoen having been involved in football administration spanning many years and as a player, he captained the Super Eagles to win the the nations cup in 1994 and was part of the team that took the country to the 5th position FIFA ranking, a feat no African side has attained.

With coaching experiences, and one on one interactions with players all over the globe, the man get mouth. Some people sometimes wish these facts never existed due to obvious reasons.

Fans, let’s join him in congratulating Mourinho.

Point of correction……Deputy captain in 1994. Keshi was the captain when we won AFCON.

E be like say these media ppl were being paid by Eguavoen to keep him relevant in the media, why are we reading about him congratulating Mourinho? Last week it was him congratulating Guardiola. Of what interests is that to us Nigerian soccer fans?

CSN abet if you no get news make you pack for one side jare

Thanks a lot for that observation. A preacher once said that what eats the bean-seed is inside the bean. Rohr qualified us for playoff and we said no, this man that subjected to ‘storm of Citadel’ in our 1 all draw in the last qualifying match must go despite all pleas from those who recant history. Eguavon gave us the worst result in 40 yrs, they said it was because of Iwobi’s red card forgetting that Cameroun almost lost to one lowly country even with a man advantage. The end result was the myocardiac infarction that many had about 2 months ago. Yet despite these, some are still covertly clamoring for him. That is the intellectual decadence that had had its romance with a generality of the populace. Very soon some will also clamor for Oliseh to be back to start from where he stopped. Thank God there is no good keeper for him to chase away now as a way of showing that he is the boss.

      • Obviously they were paid to keep him relevant. Then these fake commenters under different aliases have come to put the icing on the cake.

Watch out for one Gabriel, he might just be the same person that comments as Moses because he always comes to his defense whenever he is called out for his PR work for Eguavoen.

They think we are kids here.

        Truly, we deserve Buhari

It’s obvious this clowns called CS are being used by comedians to carry out their funny activities. Next time Eguavoen will congratulate Zelensky of Ukraine.

Does Eguavoen still have anything to do with football in Nigeria? His name will always be associated with the darkest day of soccer in this country!

    • Eguavoen is a failure…. How many opportunities can you get to make your mark?. Until you drive Nigeria football under?

It is obvious that CS and the Spammers on this page are on a propaganda to hype Eguavoen. Shame no dey catch una….

This is what happen when you choose money over integrity and your image. Eguavoen have spoiled his image because of money.

I have warned Mr. Eguavoen then but he didn’t listen to me just like Oga Rohr then. Both of the coaches failed Nigeria but Eguavoen case even worse than Oga Rohr.

Oga Rohr failed in this regard because Nigeria have never lacking quality players, this is where I am waiting for Oga Paseiro.

So far so good, he hasn’t given excuses like Oga Rohr did. He have little time to prepare the team against Mexico but still passionate about his job. That is professionalism.

On the other hand, Mr. Eguavoen preferred money over his image.

He, Oga Eguavoen and Oga Rohr were more concerned about a retired Ighalo, Akpeyi, John Noble, even this corrupt Mr. Eguavoen placed Onazi on standby list, when the likes of Nwobodo, Adeleye, Dessers were doing well.

I don’t follow people blindly this is why I am warning Oga Paseiro now. He have to protect his image when dealing with NFF.

No disrespect to Oga Rohr and Mr. Eguavoen but they were not just good enough to coach Super Eagles because Nigeria had so many young talented players during their time but these two men failed to win a tea cup.

If Mourinho was like this Mr. Eguavoen or Oga Rohr in terms of tactics and favorism, he wouldn’t have won against a determined Feyenoord yesterday. Now, he’s congratulating Mourinho. It is a shame if you don’t know Mr. Eguavoen.

Hmmm. Fellow Nigerians, I think we are all here to serve Nigeria? If so, no room for excuses, we have to call a spade a spade.

Musa, Ighalo and Akpeyi have no room in the Super Eagles anymore. And finally, Amaju Pinnick, Diko and Sheyi should get ready because EFCC is waiting for them all. Nigeria go better o o o. God bless Nigeria!!!

But you don’t because of Uzoho and Simon mistakes run into conclusion irrespective. The World football governing body didn’t see it that way either. Three things come to play in football; you either win, draw or lose. And for a coach that played seven matches losing only once is a good one though it is not out of place for few fans to be bitter because SE didn’t qualified for the WC. I also felt the pains.

    Technical Director ?

  • Kudos Roma.

  • Some people at utterly shameless. So Equaveon is still in the NFF? Please what is he Technical Directing?

Again the sport minister and NFF are been sentimental. The man failed woefully in two very crucial assignments and he has the guts to hang around our football?

Release him from his contract and pay him off. If we can pay Rohr off, what is Equaveon N3m monthly pay?

The right man for that Job is Emenalo Or Olofinjana.

    • ”The right man for that Job is Emenalo Or Olofinjana”….I’m in your corner… Eguavoen doesn’t have the records..If you don’t have it, you don’t have it.. you can’t fake it by trying to make yourself relevant….QED.. Please mark my word, Eguavoen will try to sabotage Peterside Idah quest to be NFF Chairman in coming elections in order for him to be relevant as long as he can stay as Technical Director.

      • Moses 2 years ago

It is not just enough to drop Peterside Idah’s name. Sensible people would tell the forum the qualities that made their choice suitable. So what qualifies your Idah to be elected president of the NFF.

We know Eguavoen to have local and international coaching experience besides being an ex-player, and having captained his side. We equally know he has many years of administrative experience in the NFF. These are facts.

  • Moses 2 years ago

And then, what is Peterside Ndah’s stats if I may ask? Hoping you aren’t a rude type.

  • Damian 2 years ago

I even want the nff technical director to take over from Sunday Dare. Mdf is too small. Congratulations Mourhino.
