Ahmed Musa has been voted as the Sports Writers Association Of Nigeria (SWAN) Man of the Match, following his outstanding performance in his side’s EUROMATCH-NPFL27 matchday 4 win over Doma United on Sunday, completesport.com reports.
Kano Pillars announced Musa as the winner of the award in a post on their official X handle.
Musa was a constant threat throughout the encounter, tormenting the visitor’s backline with his pace, movement.
The former Super Eagles star went on to mark his impressive display by getting Pillars’ third goal which put them 3-1 ahead in the 77th minute.
It was Musa’s first goal in two appearances this season for Pillars, who now move up to third spot on seven points in the league table after three games played.

Other scorers for Pillars were Abdullahi Musa (19th minute), Rabiu Ali (32nd minute), and Nasiru Salihu (90th minute).
As for Doma United, it was their first loss of the campaign after winning their opening three fixtures.
Despite the defeat, Doma United still occupy the top spot on nine points after four games.
