Defending champions Rangers secured their first win of the season after coming from behind to beat Nasarawa United 2-1 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Friday.
The rescheduled Matchday 3 fixture had been suspended in the 63rd minute on Thursday following a heavy downpour at the stadium.
Play resumed on Friday morning, with the Flying Antelopes completing the comeback to claim all three points.

Rangers Fight Back
Nasarawa United took the lead in the 39th minute through Sunday Dapman, but Rangers responded almost immediately. Chidozie Iwundu restored parity just two minutes later to make it 1-1.
With the game heading towards a draw, Daniel Itodo struck eight minutes from full time to complete the home team’s comeback, and secure victory for Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side.
The result moved Rangers up to eighth position with four points from two matches, while Nasarawa United slipped to 14th with three points from three games.
