Ex-Home-Based Eagle Adeniji Joins Hungarian Club Debreceni On Two-Year Contract

Former Home-based Super Eagles forward, Tunde Adeniji, has joined Hungarian club, Debreceni on a two-year contract, Completesports.com reports.

Adeniji, 23, last featured for Kuwaiti top flight side, Al Nasr.

The striker once had stints with Bulgaria outfit , Levski Sofia, his first club outside Nigeria and FK Atyrau of Kazakhstan.

The former Sunshine Stars striker was part of the home-based Super Eagles side that took part at the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda.

“It’s a fresh start for me, the beginning of a new adventure and I hope to make it a successful one”Adeniji told Completesports.com.

“I can’t wait to get started here. I hope to win titles with this club and make the fans happy. ”

Adeniji will hope to make his first competitive debut for his new club when they take on Italian side Torino in an Europa League qualifying, second round, second leg clash on Thursday.

Debreceni lost the first leg 3-0 and face an uphill task in their bid to move into the next round.
