Former Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling was arrested in Hampshire on suspicion of drug driving, dangerous driving, possession of a Class C drug, and failing to provide a specimen.
According to The Sun, Sterling was arrested by Hampshire Police following a single-vehicle collision on the M3 motorway in England, where his Lamborghini crashed into the highway barriers.

Hampshire Police released an official statement: “We received a report just before 9 a.m. on Thursday of a Lamborghini colliding with a barrier near the Minley Interchange on the southbound M3. No other vehicles were involved, and there were no injuries.”
They added, “A 31-year-old male driver from Berkshire was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, dangerous driving, possession of Class C drugs, and refusal to provide a sample. The investigation is ongoing, and he has been released on bail.”
Sterling, who came through the ranks after being signed by Liverpool from QPR’s academy in 2010, went on to become a key player at Manchester City after his 2015 move, winning multiple domestic honours before later spells at Chelsea, Arsenal and his move to Feyenoord as a free agent in February.

He has won 82 caps for England, scoring 20 goals, and is engaged to Paige Milian, with whom he has two children.
A source close to him said: “He was a prolific English international who has steered the England squad to significant heights over the last decade and has been made to feel worthless and forgotten about in recent years. The psychological strain that has put on him is immeasurable.”
