Well said Mr Nwosu. That group is wide open! Do not expect France to chicken out easily being one of the pre-tournament favourites. They are coming back as wounded lionesses. Canada is also not down and out. Although they lost to South Korea, they gave a very good account of themselves. This time, there is no third best loser from each group to make up the quarter-final line-up, it is straight qualification by the two top teams in each group, so the girls have to keep on fighting to earn one of the quarter final tickets from the group. Again, I hope it was the state of the pitch that affected the goalkeeper’s performance, otherwise, I am afraid that is not the kind of goalkeeping that would win us this tournament or take us far. If this is what the goalkeeper brings to the table, then we should start looking at the bench. In all, I wish the team the best of luck in this tournament.

    • But the Goalkeeping dept needs to be worked upon as this will be tantamount to their progress as the competition gets more intense.

  • Both of them in the picture up there look older than plumpther. Especially the French lady. Small time them go say Oyinbo no dey lie
