I started following Ogbeche in my university days , I am going to 50 yrs next year and he is 36yrs , even when we know that no footballer that played in the late 90s/early 2000 that should be not less than 45 years !!…Nigerian footballers no go make heaven!!

Well you can speak for yourself but not for others. You got admission into the university at an older age shouldn’t be a yardstick to judge others. It’s very possible Ogbeche was genuinely 18 years old in 2002.We shouldn’t be stereotyped all the time! because most times we may be wrong with our judgement.

Let say Ogbeche was 45 years old in 2002 like you said, though I know you are having a laugh, then you mean he’s celebrating his 66th birthday today hahaha… incredible! When the likes of Amunike who was a senior player to Ogbeche is just 50 years old.

Exactly. If Baba Steve is going 50 (earliest age of 46) and he started following Ogbeche (let’s say year 2000 before he made PSG first team), it then means Baba Steve was 26 years old (earliest) when he got admission into the University.
Baba, at 26 you should have been rounding up your NYSC, because you were a slow learner doesn’t mean others should be same.
Ogbeche had longevity in his footballing career. Even at one time among the goleadors in Dutch Eredivise with Cambur at about 2016. He quit Cambur in 2018, meaning 17 years of top flight professional football since his debut with PSG first squad in 2001/2002.
        17 17 = 34 years.
That is about the age footballers quit the European top flights.
Obafemi Martins who “claimed” 18 years as at 2004 was still playing premier division football is China this year.
Maybe that one be sixty years old now, abi?

  • Check the picture up there and compare both players .
    That’s Diego simone and he’s now 50.
