According to sportnewsafrica.com, FIFA were not informed of the youngster’s apparent change in nationality.
The Bleulets of France just qualified for the quarter final of the tournament after beating Senegal 5-3 on penalties.
They are due to face Uzbekistan in the semi-final of the tournament on November 25.

Issoufou is a product of AC Pissevin Valdegour, Nimes and Montpellier’s youth academies.
He made his debut in the French Ligue 1 in the 2023/24 season.
The youngster has played once for Montpellier in the ongoing campaign.
