Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua looks set to be back in the ring before the close of 2025.
The announcement was made by his promoter Eddie Hearn on Monday.
Joshua has recently undergone elbow surgery in the aftermath of his September 2024 knockout loss to Daniel Dubois. The defeat prevented Joshua from becoming a three-time heavyweight champion, thus missing out on the IBF Heavyweight Title.
When Chris Mannix presented Hearn with Matchroom’s slate for the remainder of the year, November 15 in London, December 13 in Stockton and December 27 in Riyadh, the promoter confirmed that Joshua would feature on one.

“If you’re asking me, do we take the fight? Of course we take the fight. It would be a nice way to end this little journey. Does Jake Paul really want to fight Anthony Joshua? He’s a crazy guy, he’s a crazy guy.
