Ligue 1: Simon In Action As Nantes Draw At Home, Stretch Winless Run

Moses Simon featured for Nantes but could not help them end their winless run as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Angers, Completesports.com reports.

The draw means Nantes have gone seven straight games without a win (three defeats, four draws).

The last time they won a game was November 8 in a 2-0 win at Lorient.

Romain Thomas opened scoring for Angers in the 42nd minute before Charles Traore’s 90th minute strike, forced a share of the spoils.

Sunday’s result saw Nantes now occupy 15th position on 15 points in the league table.

In another Ligue 1 fixture, Josh Maja was an unused substitute as Bordeaux beat Strasbourg 2-0 away.

It was a return to winning ways for Bordeaux who had lost their last two fixtures.

They now move up to 12th spot and have 22 points.
