Vardy put Leicester City ahead from the spot late in the first half.

Serge Aurier carelessly barged into Wesley Fofana in the Spurs box and Vardy thumped home the penalty.

James Maddison had a goal ruled out for offside at the start of second half.

The visitors went 2-0 up when Toby Alderweireld turned Vardy’s header into his own net a minute before the hour mark.
