This people should not injure Chukwueze for us ooo! Which kain tackles be dis na?

  • Pompei 5 years ago

Chukwueze has been our most exciting player so far. Perhaps it is time to sub him, before the Zims injure him!

  • Pompei 5 years ago

The Zims are not giving us time on the ball at all. Just hunting down the ball like a pack of wolves. Naija not playing badly though.

Yes sir. Our defense is looking strong. From the goalkeeper to the defenders they have played well .
I don’t think this back line should change.

  • Pompei 5 years ago

Based on this Zim performance so far, Egypt need to be very careful in the opening Afcon game. Zim will not be a walkover. Egypt will have to work hard for a result in that game.

    • Peterside Udah 5 years ago

That is true. Egypt are not as strong at the back like Nigeria.

Nigeria has been playing very well so far. With Chukwueze, Iwobi and Mikel most exciting players so far. Onuachu has been so wasteful and so reluctant to release the ball for his teammates with unnecessary dribbles. Hope the Coach brings on Oshimen second half. We’ll still score. Am very much sure of that

  • Beautiful stadium, yes, but the earlier Pinnick stops playing politics with the SE homeground, the better. The team has never been able to express itself well on this very terrible Asaba stadium. It was hurriedly built and substandard in terms of dimension and broadcast facilities. Worse still, it’s raining cats and dogs.

From Uganda to Seychelles to Egypt and now to Zimbabwe, the Super Eagles have always struggled on this bad pitch, yet Pinnick insists this is our new homeground. Pinnick is simply using this as a ‘Thank You’ to Delta State and Okowa for all the support he had to become NFF chairman and CAF Vice President.

God save Nigeria if after Afcon, SE are still forced to use the Asaba pitch as home stadium for our World Cup or next Afcon qualifier rounds. We may not be able to win any match at home and may not qualify. Who doesn’t enjoy SE games when playing on standard pitches like the FNB stadium in the match against SA?

  • What is the score pls?

  • Onuachu seems one of the candidates for the drop after all.

  • Chairmanfemi 5 years ago

If Onuachu is dropped for Kelechi. I wouldn’t be surprised. The guy has not proven to be a Super Eagle material yet. At least not in this game am watching

  • Zimbabwe is doing well, These boys are underrated. i’m loving their spirit, if only i was their coach i was going to win AFCON with their team.

  • Darey 5 years ago

But that pitch is bad news tho….can’t blame these players dey r used to lush pitches

    • You are not watching the match bro, the pitch is top notch now!

  • the stadium is very bad pinnick you re disgrace to humanity

So Nigerians wants us to win with this kind of pitch, the field be like farm

  • Pompei 5 years ago

Our boys tried. In addition to the Zim team, the pitch was also a stubborn opponent for us. I’m just glad there were no injuries. Please take our matches to other stadia with good pitches!

  • I will upload Nig v Nor after the match.
I could not live stream it.

Nigeria can never win any match in this substandard pitch.

Even UNIBEN stadium pitch is far superior to this sub-standard pitch.

Is it so costly to have Uyo quality type of pitch in Asaba?

  • Ndubuisi 5 years ago

The match has achieved its purpose and overall it was a good game despite bad pitch our boys showed some glimpses of what to expect in Egypt. Zimbabwe is a strong team and would give a good account of themselves when the show kick off.

  • The grass on that pitch is too long haba is embarrassing.
