Bundesliga side Hamburger SV have emerged as the latest club interested in signing Nigerian striker Terem Moffi from Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice this summer.
Moffi returned to Nice after spending the second half of last season on loan at Portuguese champions FC Porto.
The 27-year-old is widely expected to leave the French club before the close of the transfer window.
Nice president Maurice Cohen has confirmed that Moffi is among the players the club is willing to part with as they reshape their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Further fueling speculation over his future, the Super Eagles forward has been excluded from Nice’s first-team squad, making an exit increasingly likely in the coming weeks.

According to reports, Hamburger SV are monitoring Moffi’s situation, and are considering a move to bolster their attacking options.
The former Lorient striker’s experience in French football, and proven goalscoring ability are believed to have made him an attractive target.
Moffi has also attracted interest from Turkish Süper Lig giants Beşiktaş, with the Istanbul club reportedly exploring a deal for the Nigerian as they seek to reinforce their attack ahead of the new season.
The striker joined Nice permanently from Lorient in 2023 after an initial loan spell, and has scored important goals for Les Aiglons despite seeing his progress interrupted by injury,
Moffi remains highly regarded across Europe, and a move away from the Allianz Riviera appears increasingly inevitable as he looks to revive his career with regular first-team football.
