Napoli Sporting Director, Giovanni Manna, has disclosed that the club never wanted Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to leave for Galatasaray on loan.
Recall that the Nigerian international joined the Turkish giant despite being heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

Reacting to his move, Manna, in a chat with Radio CRC, stated that their main intention was to sell Osimhen.
“At the beginning, we were not open to the loan, something that had also been discussed with other teams but then Galatasaray came forward when the market was closed in Italy and we found a solution that was right for everyone. Obviously, we would have liked to sell Osimhen,”
The former Lille forward is expected to make his second league start for Galatasaray against Fenerbahce on Saturday after scoring on his debut game against Rizerspor.
