Napoli: No Frosty Relationship With Osimhen

Serie A champions, Napoli have denied talks of a frosty relationship with their star striker Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen was irritated by the TikTok videos that the official club website posted a few weeks ago.

Owner Aurelio De Laurentiis said in an interview with Mediaset on Thursday that the Partenopei are willing to sell the Nigeria international in case he fail to sign a new contract.

The 24-year-old had a verbal agreement in place on a new contract in the summer.

The Nigeria international has reportedly has a change of attitude in recent weeks.

Napoli released an official statement on Friday stating that they have a cordial relationship with the Nigeria international.

“President de Laurentiis never shared any negative comment about Victor. He just said that after verbally agreeing on plan to sign new deal, Osimhen changed his mind,” reads the statement.

“We hope it’s just stand-by moment to think about it. In the next weeks we will discuss with his agent Calenda about the future”.

“Reports of tense situation between Napoli and Osimhen are 100% wide of mark”.

The striker is currently sidelined after sustaining a thigh injury on international duty last weekend.

He has scored six times in 10 appearances across all competitions for Rudi Garcia’s side this season.

Frosty? Of course, yes! The thrill is gone, and Napoli were foolish to ridicule Osimhen in racist language, and expect him to enjoy it

Napoli should pin down – Osigoal is on his way to the Reds of Merseyside – and That I think will be the best move he could possibly make, he’ll be playing under Klopp, one of the most loyal and best man-managers in world football.
    Oya- let’s go Osigoal!
