Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was in Leicester City’s line-up but ended on the losing side, as they exit this season’s Emirates FA Cup following a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in Sunday’s quarter-final, Completesports.com reports.
While Ndidi featured for 90 minutes Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Leicester.
After a goalless first half Chelsea eventually found the breakthrough thanks to Ross Barkley who came on before the start of the second half.

The former Everton player scored the only goal of the game on 63 minutes after connecting on to Willian’s cross from the right.
Leicester responded with wave after wave of attacks but could not find a way past the Chelsea defence.
The Blues now join Arsenal and Manchester United in the semi-final of the FA Cup.
Earlier on Sunday, Arsenal pipped Sheffield United 2-1 to qualify for their 30th semi-final.
Nicolas Pepe opened the scoring for Arsenal from the penalty spot before John McGoldrick equalised for Sheffield with three minutes to the end of the game.
But 91st minute Dani Ceballos scored what proved to be the winner to give Arsenal the 2-1 win.
The last quarter-final fixture will see Newcastle United welcome holders Manchester City at St James’ Park later today (Sunday).
