Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Save of the Season award following her remarkable stop in Brighton & Hove Albion’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool last November.
The Nigerian international produced a brilliant save to tip Fuka Nagano’s long-range strike onto the crossbar in the fiercely contested encounter.
The stunning effort also earned the 24-year-old the WSL Save of the Month award for November 2025.

Nnadozie has been one of Brighton’s standout performers this season, impressing with her commanding displays and sharp reflexes between the sticks.
The 25-year-old joined the Seagulls on a free transfer last summer after leaving French club Paris FC.
Other goalkeepers shortlisted for the award include Manchester City’s Ayaka Yamashita, Leicester City goalkeeper Janina Leitzig, Arsenal duo Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe, as well as London City Lionesses’ Elene Lete.
