Heavy downpour hl temporarily disrupted events at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The rain forced the basketball match between Team Rivers and Team Jigawa to be suspended for an extended period.
The football game between Team Ebonyi and Team Borno also experienced a delayed restart due to the weather conditions.
Action will continue across different centres in Abeokuta, Ikenne and Sagamu on Wednesday (today).

Team Bayelsa currently occupy first position on the medals table with six gold, two silver and one bronze medals.
Team Oyo and Team Lagos sit in second and third position respectively.
Oyo have four gold one silver and one bronze medals.
Team Lagos have amassed three gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
