CAF has been giving MOM to the wrong falcons players, the last time Onumonu deserved it but they gave it to Ordega from the Blue lol, and now instead of giving to Kanu who was involved in two goals and several beautiful plays, you gave a defender Ohale that was not really in the thick of action and virtually on Holiday. These continent and their corrupt practices May God help us because I can read the lines. South African strikers have won two MOM and a Midfielder so automatically another win or two for those players will give them player of the tournament and stand favorite for CAF women player of the year award. This new regime of Southy heading CAF is not different from the previous Amad corrupt regime that introduced the zonal qualifications thing. It is well make we just dey observe the Drama from this men at the top.

  • This Corrupt And Good For Nothing Caf Is Dumb And Silly How On Earth Is Ohale the WOM When Ajibade who won and converted the Penalty,Provided asists to almost all the other 3 goals was ignored. All This Old Men In Africa Needs A Total Beating Allah

  • Lol… Defender that was virtually on holiday given the WOM? Why not give the goalkeeper? Who do us this thing in Africa? What happened to Ajibade that was lively through out the match or even Kanu?

That’s how they gave khatlaga of SA in their match against Botswana yesterday the WOM, a player that absolutely not in the game at all, even the commentator and match analysts dispute her selection.

Nothing is ever done on merit in Africa. Can we imagine the nonsense zonal qualifications that’s making Africa to send a weak team to fifa competitions now? We still have a long long way to go in Africa…

Africas and their negativity..most of the ball that came to ajibade that she assisted for those goals were floated to her by ohale from the back.. That’s vision, even the penalty ajibade won was provided by ohale.. Since ajibade and KANU were substituted Early it is natural for ohala to receive the woman of the match award. Without her long balls we would have never scored many of those goals.. Let us learn to criticise constructively.. Oshaola wrote on social media that she read all the bad comments against her someone who got injured playing for her country, yet we still criticised her. Same with okoye.. When they say tomorrow that they don’t want to play any more we become angry.. If okoye played the Ghana game probably we would have gone to the world cup, but we fans never want to learn

Ololo Ohale has no business here for WOM for say she make secondary pass as you claim. Watch football very well and you’ll understand the point. Rasheedat or Kanu deserved that award, it is sad that you can’t read the blueprint that is fashioned against Nigeria. Rasheedat has been consistent in this tournament so she’ll be a threat to the RSA players for the tournament best so if you know you know. There’s nothing negative about this or whatever, and talking about Asisat she needs to be humble alongside Osihmen and translate Greatness to national team. They should be passionate look at Mane and Salah. What have they achieved on national front that yet they’re going Gaga and can’t curtail their progress. You know what happens after pride no one needs their doe all older people ask is for them to humble themselves and do exploit on local front.

Ajibade didn’t play 90 mins ,if she did I would have been surprised if she did not win the woman of the match award.. Same with KANU ..

When you don’t complete games or substituted very Early it becomes difficult to win such award..

The coach was more concerned with resting players for the next game than for KANU getting her hat trick or ajibade claiming WOM award.. If you must Blame anyone for the award given to ohale put the blame on the coach. you are correct that ajibade is our Best player but sometimes we need qualification to tournament than accumulating individual awards.. After ajibade , KANU the next best player in yesterday’s game was ohale so it was natural she gets the award by virtue of circumstances or luck.. We have other games ajibade will get her WOM award.. Qualification before praises

When did 90mins become yardstick for MOM or WOM. Never mind let’s not argue about this let’s just leave it.

If you watch the fourth goal scored by us you will see that Nigeria was with nine players on the field. That was because the ref did not look at the direction of the Nigerian coach when he was calling for change. This means that Nigeria has many enemies. They are not happy we are dominating Africa. they don’t want us to win the cup for the tenth time. But God dey our side.

I tire o, as in ehn, this Wafcon na rubbish organisers organiser am. The outright winner is Ajibade… 1 goal and Several assist.

Caf has given one of our own (not even a burundian) the wom award and some grudge stricken fellows are not happy. Instead of being happy they are busy grudging up and down like hungry dogs. Whether it was given to the coach or keeper, it still doesn’t matter as long as it was given to a member of the team . This our problem in this country, we still have a long way to go.

    • Supatemmy 2 years ago

Oga isn’t about happiness it’s about the right thing, how on earth was even Kanu third goal offside, she came from on side and the other lady didn’t interrupt or touch the ball .. this Southy Caf thing na mumu organiser.

  • Golden Child 2 years ago

Congrats to Ohale, she had a strong game but Ajibade should have been WOM. In football, decisive contributions is rated above every other thing. No body rates pre-assists but rather assists and goals. AJIBADE ticked all the boxes.

  • Dr Banks 2 years ago

@Oakfield……….so we should just be happy that it was given to our own? So the WOM can be given to a team that was walloped 4:0? You guys amazes me, let’s be analytical for once in our life and I want you to analyse that match critically and tell me what Ohale did to deserve the award ahead of Ajibade or Kanu.

CAF has really been disappointing ever since Motsepe and Ahmad took over the reigns, their mission has been to end the West African domination in the round leather game in Africa. Have you wondered also why Morocco has been hosting virtually every competition recently?

    • Supatemmy 2 years ago

God will bless you I, be like Oakfield read the match details online, cause if he has watched the match, he wouldn’t be saying this thing he’s saying, what’s our business with happy, give the right person oga… Even in the 2nd match, Ordega wasn’t the right person to give.

I will not allow myself to be used by the devil to insult anyone on this platform anymore. As we age with experience and light we come to find what is greater than abusive utterances. I bless those who insult me in any form.

In my opinion, Ajibade was definitely the Woman of the Match in this encounter. Kanu would have been my second choice. Although Ohale was great too, especially with her excellent interceptions and incisive long balls to the attack. Onome Ebi was also at the same level.
That was from my own perspective, maybe I focused too much on the attackers.
Congratulations to Ohale and the entire Super Falcon team!

Ohale played really well. Her long-range passes allowed the likes of Ajibade and Onumonu to get behind the Burundi defense. One of those passes led to the penalty that resulted in the first goal.
She also formed a solid defensive partnership with Ebi. So I understand why she was nominated for the WOM.
However, I understand why some are clamoring for Ajibade and Kanu.
Ajibade especially with her goal and numerous assists. The way she operated from the right wing and her lovely crosses into the box would have made Finidi proud.
