Everton defender Matthew Pennington is attracting interest from Championship clubs ahead of the summer window.
The centre-back, who signed a new three-year deal at Goodison Park last summer, impressed while out on loan at Ipswich Town before an ankle injury cut his season short.
Now recovering from subsequent surgery, Pennington’s situation is being monitored by two Championship sides, with Derby County and Wigan Athletic both thought to be interested.

It’s not yet certain where Pennington features in Marco Silva’s plans and whether he would be sent out on loan or potentially sold on a permanent basis this summer.
Both the Rams and the Latics are set to lose loan players this summer and the 24-year-old could do a job for both clubs next term.
