Star Lager Pumps Up Celebration  Of Eagles’ AFCON 2019 Semifinal Ticket

Sonorous music, thunderous applause and much more in a carnival-like atmosphere greeted the Super Eagles’ splendid qualification for the AFCON 2019 semifinals on Wednesday across the Star Fan Parks.

The Super Eagles confirmed their supremacy over South Africa, beating them 2-1 in the quarter-final game played at the Cairo International Stadium.

Samuel Chukwueze who had a shining performance and was rightly adjudged man-of-the-match gave Nigeria the lead in the first half.

Though Bongani Zungu gave Bafana Bafana a lifeline when he equalised in the 70th minute, the Super Eagles soared into the semi-final with the late winning goal from Willaim Troost-Ekong.
