AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori says he’s confident of making the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.
It is nearly six years since Tomori, who grew up supporting Arsenal, made the leap and left Chelsea, where he came through the ranks.
Speaking with the Athletic, the Tomori stated that he’s still optimistic of making the England based on his performance at club level.

“Coach (Thomas) Tuchel and I spoke a few months ago, and he said I’m in the running and that there’s not much to do, just keep moving forward.
“In football and in life, anything can happen. I’m focused on myself, doing my best to help myself, to help Milan. And then, as I said, I hope to be called up.”
Tomori has featured 205 times for the Rossoneri and won the 2021/22 Serie A title during his time in Milan.
