Nigeria’s Falconets will depart for Poland on Monday (today) ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Completesports.com reports.
The team has spent several weeks in camp, undergoing intensive training as preparations gather momentum for the global showpiece.
Head coach Moses Aduku and his players will continue their final phase of preparations in Poland, where they are scheduled to play friendly matches against the host nation and Korea Republic.
The two warm-up games will offer Aduku another opportunity to assess his players, fine-tune his tactics and make necessary adjustments before the tournament gets underway.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.
The Falconets will open their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, 7 September.
They will return to the same venue three days later to take on China in their second group fixture.
Aduku’s side will then conclude their group-stage campaign against New Caledonia at the Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, 13 September.
The Falconets will be aiming for a strong showing in Poland as they look to make their mark at the global tournament.

Hmm !!!!!! wishing them the best of luck but my issue is the NFF preparations are shoddy, The coaches are really not up to pace with modern football. like the current coach of the falconets was the head coach of Edo queens. There is nothing to cheer about because, his level of coaching skills is really questionable for me. For the womens league and probably WAFU 3rd place he is ok, that is for me, his best placement. So the question is why are we going to Poland to participate or to win. is there anything wrong getting another african coach with a better understanding of the game
Moses Aduku is a very good coach.He is disciplined during his football days and now as coach,this is his ongoing personality professionalism and dedication -even long after he has retired from playing…
You see people from the South-South are less tribal compared to two of the 3 major tribes in Nigeria!His squad list is evident of this claim.
He and the Nigerian under 17 male coach will do well because there selection will have merit written all over it..
A good selects players based on merit and skill rather than favouritism.
The scouting will be on merit,players earn their spot through strong training sessions and match performance..The best available team plays,which increases the chances of winning..
I trust Aduku to do well. We shall see..
