Ademola Lookman will play no part in Atalanta’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona.
La Dea will be up against Barcelona in a matchday fixture at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
Lookman, according to reports is currently nursing a knee injury.
The Nigeria international sustained the injury in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side Serie A clash with Como last weekend.

The 27-year-old is expected to be out of action for a number of weeks.
The pacy winger’s return date will be determined after more tests in the upcoming days.
Lookman registered a goal and an assist in Atalanta’s 5-0 victory over Austrian club Sturm Graz last week.
He has racked four goals and two assists in six appearances in the Champions League this season.

I just hope this doesn’t affect our March WCQs. It was the same case with Osimhen last year that made him miss all the matches we’d played so far. And it affected us cos I can’t imagine Osimhen playing 3 SE matches and not scoring. In fact, we hardly lost a game he played in.
Speedy recovery. Lookman. Atalanta medical staff should also not play a fast one with an exaggerated prognosis and recovery time.
Terrible news it won’t be as worse as feared.

This is what have been saying all this while about Eguavoen. Injury is part of the game, but why has Eguavoen refused to try other players?

Lookman is very important to the Super Eagles team. Eric Chelle should select his team with the players he knows they can fit in his plans.
I don’t see why Arokodare, Dessers, Akpom, Ejuke and Obon shouldn’t be invited to the World Cup qualifiers.
Eguavoen, the manipulator, has no place to hide. Eric Chelle should be allowed to select his preferred player, shikena.
Che6 shouldn’t allow Eguavoen/NFF to dictate to him.
