Falconets head coach Moses Aduku is in buoyant mood ahead of his side’s 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying second leg clash against Malawi.
Nigeria will take on the Young Scorchers at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Saturday, holding a 2-0 advantage from the first leg played in Ikenne last weekend.
Aduku expressed confidence in his team’s preparation and determination to secure qualification.

“We are here to play and to win. The players understand the importance of this match, and we are fully prepared mentally, tactically, and physically for the challenge ahead,” the gaffer told a press conference on Friday.
The encounter is scheduled for 3pm Malawi time (2pm Nigeria time).
The Falconets swept past Rwanda and Senegal on their way to the final round, with the East Africans falling 0-5 on aggregate while the West Africans lost 1-3 on aggregate.
They have appeared at every edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals since the competition came into being, as an U19 tournament, in 2002.
