Guinea-Bissau head coach, Baciro Cande on Friday unveiled a 25-man squad for the Djurtus 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Cande unveiled the squad during an interaction with the local media on Friday.
No player from the country’s domestic league was included in the squad by Conde.
Mamadi Camara, who plays for Sky Bet Championship club, Reading and CD Feirense of Portugal forward, Esmiraldo Sa Silva are some of the big stars named in the squad by Cande.
Guinea-Bissau will open camp for the qualifiers on Sunday, March 19.
The Djurtus ill travel to Abuja for the game two days later.
The first leg is billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on September 24.
The reverse fixture will take place three days later at the 24 de Setembro National Stadium.
The Super Eagles top the group with six points from two games, while the Djurtus occupy second spot with four points same four number of matches.

Another six points loading for Nigeria
U wil be surprised.this guys are playing in their clubs week in week out .and how many nigerian guys do play every week apart from oshimen lookman chueze or moffi the rest are benchwarmers or at worst 20 to 5 mins players. That is the reason pasceiro can’t release the team list since three days now hoping to have a look at them today and tomorrow before going to the press .
Nff gave him Monday for defense of his list. Ghana and others good team already released their list but because our eagles ain’t playing regularly the coach is trying not to invite weak players. He wants to see them in action first . maybe some local players could take charge of the defense or midfield instead of bringing in the weak once.the coach insisted.

Pesiero must look for excellent abroad and local players; the players who will be recalled must be in strong form that means players who are recalled valued with playing regularly in their clubs.
