Stanley Nwabali claimed the Super Eagles have enough quality to beat South Africa to the 2026 FIFA World Cup ticket.
The Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana are expected to go toe-to-toe for the Group C ticket.
The two teams will clash in a matchday three encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo next week Friday.
Hugo Broos’ men currently occupy second position in the group with three points, while the Super Eagles sit in third position with two points.

Nwabali however believed that the Super Eagles have better quality than the South Africans.
“Football is the same everywhere but I don’t feel with the kind of players we have, we can have any challenge in any game especially in our group. But you cannot predict football,” the Chippa United goalie told Lagos Talks.
“Talking about South African players I would say I know them. We have good players in our country too so I’m not talking about those guys, they are good in their own way of playing.
“I’m not talking about them because if we can put ourselves together, they cannot match us.”

True, Nwabali. Bafana Bafana are no match to the SE squad anyway. Yes some injuries to key players like Osimhen, Ekong, Anna etc but still Pound for pound, Super Eagles are way ahead. But there should be no complacency or under rating SA team,because they can hurt the Eagles if they become complacent or over confident.
Even without Osimhen, if Finidi is technically sound South Africa is nothing before Nigeria
I said earlier with a good formation and discipline South Africans can not match us player for player.

Tee there are things have been changed in Super Eagles mentality and technical crew, you see Finidi assistants are so genuis coaches to deal with these matches , Daniel Amokachi is a championship coach , Benjamin has European coaching mentality with a German one , so I think the tow coaches will give Finidi good technical and tactical advices to pass Bafana Bafana and Benin…
