Christantus Uche was in action for Getafe who defeated Espanyol 1-0 in the Spanish La Liga on Monday.
Uche, who was in the starting line-up, was then taken off with eight minutes left to play.
It was a return to winning ways for Getafe who suffered defeat in their last league game.
Alvaro Rodriguez was the hero for Getafe as his eight minute strike was enough to secure the three points.
Getafe are now in 15th on 16 points in the league table.

According to data analytical websites, Uche has played more as a centre forward or support striker for Getafe this season.
If that proves to be accurate, then 1 goal and 0 assist across 16 league matches this season – not to put too fine a point on it – is poor.
On his favour, playing regularly in the Spanish La Liga is a huge positive feather on his cap and forms some sort of justification for Super Eagles consideration.
But, my problem is, where will he fit? The attack line-up of the Super Eagles is already jam-packed with regulars and fringe options like Akpom. The midfield has no space for him with Dele-Bashiru and others holding the fort.
However, if Super Eagles handlers elect to extend a surprise invitation to him, I don’t anticipate a lot of complaints.
Christantus Uche is a bundle of untapped possibilities who can prove to be an exciting ace in the hole.
For now, he might have to do more in goals and assists stats for me to be sold on him.
