Pape Gueye scored twice as the Terangha Lions of Senegal rallied to beat Sudan 3-1 to book their place in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Aamir Abdallah gave Sudan the lead after six minutes.
Abdallah finished a swift counter-attack with a sublime curling effort from his favoured left foot.
Senegal responded with authority, Gueye netting the equaliser one minute before the half hour mark with Sadio Mane providing the assist.

Mané dispossessed Mohamed Abuaagla in midfield and quickly released Gueye, who calmly drove a low finish past the goalkeeper.
The former champions took the lead for the first time in the game late in the first half through Gueye.
Senegal wrapped up the contest 13 minutes from time.
Substitute Ibrahim Mbaye unleashed a powerful strike from inside the area after yet another incisive Mané assist to put the result beyond doubt.
