Carlos Alcaraz retained his Wimbledon title after a dominant (6-2, 6-2 7-6 (7-4)) victory over Novak Djokovic on Centre Court on Sunday.
It was Alcaraz’s second consecutive victory over Djokovic in the Wimbledon final.

The much anticipated match lived up to expectations as the duo keenly contested for the title.
Alcaraz, 21, added Wimbledon to his victory at the French Open in June, which made him the youngest man with Grand Slam titles on grass, clay and hard courts.
The Spaniard won his first Slam title at the 2022 US Open as a teenager, and no man ever has collected more Slam hardware before turning 22 than he has.
For Djokovic, it was only the fifth straight-sets loss in a Grand Slam final.
He was trying to win a 25th Slam title, which would be more than any other player in tennis history.
The 37-year-old was also seeking his eighth Wimbledon title to equal Roger Federer for the most by a man at the grass-court major.

There comes a time in sports when you meet an opponent that just has your number.
Especially in one on one sports, like tennis.
For Federer, it was Nadal. The Fed was totally dominant in the sport, could easily overcome everyone else, with the exception of the obstinate Spaniard.
It seemed like Federer’s village pipo sent Nadal to torment him. And torment was ruthlessly served, time and time again.
For Nadal himself, it was Djokocic.
Now the Djoker is also collecting wotowoto from Alcaraz.
Not a laughing matter for the Djoker. Alxaraz stops him yet again.
