“Aspire FC Will Overcome NLO Challenges, Get Promotion To NNL’ –TM, Okoye

The team manager, Aspire FC of Adazi-Ani, Anambra State, Mr Augustine Okoye has declared that the team’s major target this season is to secure promotion from Nationwide League One to NNL.

in Awka.

Speaking on how he intend achieving the promotion target despite the team’s challenges, Okoye said: “All the necessary plans are in place. Part of the plan is to get good players which we already have. But we are still putting plans in place to see the team fortified better”.

“We know that as we progress in the league, it will be tougher. And of course there are things that pose challenge for us, but we are working hard to get them settled to be able to get promotion this season.

“I am optimistic that with the current form of the team. But it is a thing you follow with cautious optimism because as you try to fortify your team to grab promotion, other teams are equally doing their best to get promoted.”

Okoye added: “I am already on my toes going by what is there on the table. I don’t think any team is a big threat to us despite goal differences. We are second in our group. All we need is get our team fortified against all the challenges.

“In our subsequent matches, you will see a more organized, more purposeful, more cooperative team that will continue to do our supporters, fans and Anambra State proud”.

Though the team had been in this crucible before ending without promotion having lost in the playoff to another Anambra State side, Udala FC, about two years ago, the confident team manager believes they can get past any opposition this time around.
