All eyes will be on the showdown as the two arch-rivals meet in a matchup which could see the hosts crowned as LaLiga champions.

Barca are currently in a red-hot form going into this El Clasico as they have won nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions with the defeat to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final their only loss within this period.
The Blaugrana won their last game away at Osasuna with goals from Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres ensuring they get closer to LaLiga glory as Hansi Flick is set to become the fourth Barcelona coach this century to win back-to-back titles in his first two seasons at the club.

Following an impressive start to the 2025/26 season where they lost just one of their first 14 matches, Real Madrid have failed to win five of their last 10 matches including a home-and-away defeats to Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final.

Barcelona
Barca will be without star attacker Lamine Yamal for this weekend’s El Clasico. He is ruled out of the season having suffered a hamstring injury last month.
They are also set to be without Andreas Christensen, who is out for the remainder of the term with an ACL injury.

Raphinha is expected to feature in the Clasico having made a comeback in the victory over Osasuna following recovery from a hamstring injury.
Real Madrid
Mbappe is reportedly cleared to play this match after passing fitness tests. Though, his reported issues with his teammates and one of the staff of the club could prevent him from featuring.
On Thursday, Madrid confirmed that there had been a scuffle between Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde, with the latter hospitalised with a head injury that will rule him out of this El Clasico.
It’s unclear if Tchouameni will play this game as the club are said to sanction him.
Arbeloa is also sweating on the fitness of some players. Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Ferland Mendy and Dani Carvajal are all out for the remainder of the season with their respective injury problems.
Arda Guler is also set to miss out with a muscle injury, but he could return before the season ends.
