Bayern Munich Basketball Club has secured the services of TJ Parker as part of new Head Coach Gordon Herbert’s coaching staff, assigning him the role of First Assistant Coach.
The former French league champion in 2021 and 2022 with ASVEL will coach outside his home country for the first time under Herbert, who was his coach at Racing Paris from 2005 to 2007, according to Eurohoops.

The 40-year-old Parker has been coaching at ASVEL since 2013 and remained there until 2023.
The challenge is significant for the former player and brother of Tony Parker, as the French basketball icon is also the owner of ASVEL, where TJ has spent all his coaching years so far.
Bayern Munich Basketball Club will begin its campaign against Ludwigsburg in Spain’s top-flight basketball league on Sunday, September 22.
