Bayern Munich manager has confirmed that striker Harry Kane will not feature against Freiburg in Saturday’s Bundesliga game.
Recall that the England captain suffered a minor ankle injury while on international duty with England and missed the friendly against Japan on Tuesday.
In a chat with the club’s website, Kompany stated that Kane has been ruled out for Bayern Munich’s clash with Freiburg.

He however, remain hopeful that he will be available to face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
“Harry trained well until Sunday, then he felt something in his ankle while with the national team.
“That will have an impact on tomorrow’s game – he won’t be available. Nevertheless, I’m positive about Tuesday. It’s not great, I’d like him to play against Freiburg, but as things stand today that won’t be possible.
“I am rather positive about the game on Tuesday in Madrid.”
