Juventus’ Emre Can says he is eager to see the progress the side can make under new boss Maurizio Sarri. The Bianconeri head into the new Serie A season aiming for a ninth straight Scudetto crown but may take a while to settle with Sarri in the dugout following Massimiliano Allegri’s exit.
Despite rumours of dressing-room unrest, the Italian did a decent job in his sole year at Chelsea, leading the Blues to third in the Premier League and the Europa League title. Returning to Italy seemed the best idea for all and he will be looking to impose his philosophy on La Vecchia Signora.
With Matthijs de Ligt, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey amongst those to sign this summer, it looks set to be another strong season for Juve. Can says the squad are excited about the prospect of writing a new chapter in the club’s history under their new coach.
