Former Brazil forward, Antonio de Oliveira Filho – popularly known as Careca – has spoken in admiration of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen’s endowments, attributes and resourcefulness as a striker.
Osimhen has had a good 2021/22 season so far at Napoli scoring 16 goals, making five assists in 26 games in all competitions and won the Serie A Player of The Month for March.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb , Careca, 61, who was also a Napoli player lavished praises on the Nigeria international.

“He’s going strong, he’s a centre forward who scores, he’s fast, powerful, tall,” remarked Careca, a 1986 FIFA World Cup second highest goal scorer, who starred for Napoli from 1987 to 1993.
“I see that he’s someone who was to win and make history.
“I saw that he is tough, tough. He always aims for the opening, I like it.”
Napoli are currently third in the Serie A, on 66 points, from 32 games.

Careca was a formidable striker at the Mexico 86:world cup and was the number 9 who played with Maradona at Napoli winning two scudettos and the UEFA cup . It’s good he recognises Osimhen’s goal scoring prowess
My advice to Osimhen is that he should watch videos of accomplished strikers like Careca, Romario, Harry Kane, Messi, CR7, and others.
Work on his technique and temperament in front of goal so he can grow and improve as a striker.
For now, he remains a work in progress. As Ikpeba said, he is DEFINITELY NOT YET THE FINISHED ARTICLE.
